I'm looking for recipes for my dog. She has seemed to have acquired allergies. Any foods to cook for her that will alleviate the problem?Homemade food recipes for dog with allergies?
Try plain white rice and broiled chicken. Cook them seperate, obviously, then tear the chicken up and put into rice. If your going to do this regulary, I would make a huge batch that will last you for a couple of days.

If you are not sure what your dog is allergic to then start with plain cooked chicken (no spices). If there is no reaction from the dog eating the chicken, then in the next meal, add barley or brown rice. Again, if no reaction - add sweet potatoes. Keep adding one ingredient at a time. If there is a reaction, you will then know which thing to avoid. My German shepherds have a home cooked diet and they primarily get chicken with barley, fresh rosemary,and a variety of vegetables. They sometimes get green tripe, fish, turkey, pork, etc.
Try adding mangosteen juice to your dogs food. It helps my son with his allergies, and it work just as well for pets.
