1 tablespoon seasoned salt
2 cans (5 ounces each) water chestnuts, drained

Yep!
Get some Wonton Wraps (usually hanging in the produce section of the store). They come 60 wraps to a pack.
Brown two pounds of hamburger or sausage crumbled well with 1 sweet onion chopped. Drain and add 2 packets of Ranch Dressing Mix (dry pkt.).
While the meat is cooking take the Wonton wraps and place them in a muffin tin and pre-bake them to form a bowl. Place on a cookie sheet (a large one). I make 48 to 50 at a time.
Spoon your meat mixture in the cups and top with grated cheddar cheese and place back in the oven to melt the cheese on top.
Add toppings such as shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream guacamole, chopped tomato and chopped green onions.
Pop in your mouth one at a time and enjoy!
If you don't want to do the Wonton Wraps you can buy already prepared pie crust cups but the wraps are fun to do and less exspensive.Does anyone have any good simple appitizer recipes?
crackers and cheese.
These are my favorites!
Cream Cheese Cracker Spread:
5 green onions with tops, chopped
1 lg. can black olives, chopped well
1 cup finely grated sharp cheddar cheese
3-8oz. cream cheese, softened
Dash garlic powder
Dash onion powder
Salt
Pepper
Blend all ingredients together (I use a hand mixer). Serve in a pretty bowl with crackers.
Chicken Wings
We're all about easy! I buy the best sauce I can find for the flavor I want (terriaki, BBQ, etc.), then put the wings and the sauce in the crock pot until done (about 4-6 hours). If they're done sooner, I turn the crockpot to 'warm' and let them simmer. Yum!
This is the best and easiest dip recipe, and people always rave! I tell them it鈥檚 really hard to make (lol):
Cream Cheese Dip
2 large blocks of cream cheese
1 large jar Pace picante (medium)-use most of the jar
Soften cream cheese and mix with hand mixer until smooth. Add picante and mix with hand mixer. Leave in frig for a few hours to blend flavors. Serve with chips.
I know it seems too simple to be great, but it is!
Chive and Garlic Dip
4 teaspoons dried chives
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1 pinch black pepper
3 cups sour cream
Combine the seasonings in a plastic baggy and make sure all is combined well. Add to the sour cream and stir to combine. Chill before serving.
This isn't really an appetizer, but it's good for parties and to take to work, etc.
Nacho Dip
Here's my no fail, always asked-for nacho dip. When it's heated through, put it on warm or low, or unplug for a short time if it's too hot. Everyone raves about this:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned
1 can cream mushroom soup
1/4 cup butter
2 lb Velveeta, cubed
2 cups Pace Chunky Salsa, (medium is our favorite, mild or hot if you like)
3 Tbsp Chili Powder
Put all into crock pot. Cook on low 1-1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips. Yummy!
And this is an easy chip dip that is excellent!

Easiest one I know is Bar-Be-Que little smokies.
Ingredients:
1 - bottle of your favorite bar-be-Que sauce.
1 or 2 lg pkgs of Little Smokies
Directions:
Using med sized sauce pan, pour bar-be-Que sauce in pan and add Little Smokies. Heat until warm. Transfer to crock pot or chafing dish to keep warm.
Spoon onto a plate and serve with toothpicks. Makes good munchies.
You can use the Little Hot dogs or even regular sized Hot Dogs or Sausages cut into bite sized pieces.
Asparagus wraps
Wrap 2-3 trimmed spears of asparagus in a thin slice of prosciutto. Secure with a tooth pick. Bake at 350 for 10 -12 minutes, or until meat begins to crisp a bit. You can also do this on the bbq. They're good hot or cold.
Cheese ball
1 brick cream cheese, softened
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion (use the green part too)
dash of worchestershire sauce
2-3 drops hotsauce or tobasco
Mix well in food processor or with electric beater. Line bowl with plastic wrap. Press mixture into bowl. Chill for a few hours. Invert on to plate, remove plastic, serve with crackers.
