Does anyone know where I can find recipes for Indian snack foods? Specifically Gujarati Farsans?

I once had a friend cook two incredibly delicious snack foods.


one was like spicy rice krispies, the other, deep friend dough, made into a spiral shape (VERY spicy).





Since they are snack foods - most restaurants dont offer them.


Does anyone know any recipes or recipe sites I might check?





I THINK the name of one was something like potatapuri but I'm sure thats spelled way off.
