What are some good jalapeno pepper recipes?

We do poppers similar to the girl above, but we bought a popper holder on line. We cut the tops off, and gut them. Then layer the insides with cream cheese, turkey bacon, and shredded cheese until they are full. poke small holes on the bottoms, then place in holder, and place on grill. Usually about ten to fifteen minutes, depending on hot the grill is. We opted to use the turkey bacon because the pork takes longer to cook, and it makes a mess. Turkey bacon even tastes better. You can also use shrimp or whatever your heart desires. You can goggle popper holders, I believe I got mine from a store in Texas. I found this site that has the same holder as I have. http://sammcgees.comWhat are some good jalapeno pepper recipes?

1/4 c. sliced green onion

Split lengthwise, remove seeds, leaving stem attached. Rinse. Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in cheese and green onion. Stuff each pepper with part of the cheese mixture. Arrange on heat proof serving place and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until cheese melts or eat raw. Top each with a pimento strip if desired.

BACON, CREAM CHEESE JALAPENO PEPPERS

20 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded

1-2 boxes cream cheese, softened

1-2 packages premium bacon, cut into halves

Make sure jalapenos are halved and seeded. May need to wear rubber gloves when doing this to prevent burns.

Stuff each half with cream cheese and wrap with a half piece of bacon. Cook in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees until bacon in done.

You can adjust this recipe to make as many or as little as you need.

*Jalapeno Poppers

Jalapeno poppers are popular restaurant and party appetizers. Make your own poppers following this simple recipe:

24 fresh jalapenos

1陆 cups shredded cheddar cheese

陆 cup cream cheese, softened

3 eggs, slightly beaten

2 cups fine breadcrumbs

Ranch or blue cheese dressing

Cut the stem end off each pepper and scoop out seeds and as much of the ribs as possible. In a small bowl blend the cheeses together. Stuff each of the peppers with the cheese mixture (a pastry piper or small spoon is helpful). Beat eggs gently. Pour breadcrumbs into a shallow pan. One by one, coat each popper with egg, shake off excess and roll gently in the breadcrumbs. Set aside for 15 minutes to allow the breading to set up. Transfer the poppers to a greased baking pan and bake in a preheated 300 掳F (150 掳C) oven. Bake 20 minutes for spicy jalapeno poppers, 30 minutes for medium heat and 40 minutes for a mild flavor. Serve immediately with dressing for dipping.
