Nothing funny about this, pure decadents:

Molten Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

8 ounces plus 6 tablespoons butter

10 ounces bittersweet chocolate

6 yolks

6 eggs

3 cups powdered sugar

1 cup flour

Melt the chocolate and butter together. Cool slightly. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, whisk together the yolks and eggs then mix in the powdered sugar. Whisk this into the chocolate mixture then whisk in the flour. Fill 12 greased 4-ounce foil tins with the batter and refrigerate until ready to bake, or bake immediately. Bake in a preheated 450 degree F oven for 5 to 6 minutes from cold, or 4 to 5 minutes from room temperature. Turn out of tins immediately onto the plate.

Optional Garnitures:

White Chocolate Ganache:

2 cups heavy cream

8 ounces white chocolate, chopped

Heat the cream in a saucepan until boiling. Place the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Whisking well, pour the hot cream over the chocolate to melt it. Cover and chill overnight. The next day, whip it up like whipped cream until soft peaks. Place a dollop of it on the cake before serving.

Satin Chocolate-Mint Sauce:

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate

4 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate

1/4 cup light corn syrup

1/3 cup hot water

1 teaspoon mint extract

In the top half of a double boiler, combine the 2 chocolates over simmering water. Stir constantly until melted, then whisk in the syrup, water, and mint extract without removing the double boiler from the heat. Whisk until smooth and shiny. (The sauce can be made up to 48 hours in advance and refrigerated. To rewarm, stir over low heat or heat in a microwave.) Drizzle this over the cake and plate just before serving.Any good recipes for cakes?

I found a choc cake recipe on epicurious that called for cocoa powder and hot water. I subbed hot coffee for the water and it was awesome! used a white vanilla butter creme frosting
cornflakes and cooking chocolate couldn't be easier, and every one loves them.
the most chocolaty cake you will ever taste- follow this recipe and the cake is really nice. the cake does not really need anything to go with it as it is so strong
Texas sheet cake! I have the recipe but seem to have misplaced it for the moment. Just go on line and google it -something should come up. It's a very fudgy cake with a hot fudge like sauce! Never had a single complaint from this one! Awsome cake! Give it a try and I think you'll agree!

PS: Watch the recipes as it's basically chocolate cake ingredients and a chocolate fudgy frosting. NO CINNAMON or any odd ingredients!
it's not chocolate, but it's awesome

Fuzzy Navel Upside Down Cake recipe

Cake:

1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained

8 maraschino cherries, cut into halves

1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix with pudding

1 small box vanilla instant pudding mix

3/4 cup orange juice

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup peach schnapps

1 tablespoon orange peel, grated

4 eggs

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 12-cup fluted Bundt pan and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly in the bottom. Arrange the peach halves in the grooves of the pan on top of the brown sugar and then place the cherry halves between the peaches.

In a large mixing bowl, mix all of the cake ingredients at low speed until moistened, then at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour the batter into the pan over the fruit and bake for 50 to 65 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean. Cake crust may become very dark so, if necessary, cover cake loosely with foil. Cool for at least 15 minutes before removing from pan.

Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 tablespoons peach schnapps

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

In a small bowl combine all of the sauce ingredients and mix until well blended. With a long tined fork CAREFULLY pierce the top of the cake between the peaches and spoon the sauce over the top of the cake.

Topping:

1 cup whipping cream or 1 large container Cool Whip

1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar

2 tablespoons peach schnapps

In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Beat until soft peaks form. Serve over the warm cake.

Can be served warm or cold.
This Hershey's chocolate cake recipe is one of the best out there. It has been posted to many different recipe databases and blogs. The results are always good, and the recipe is very easy. If you want a deeper flavor and color, you can substitute the water for strong coffee. Some people say they can taste the coffee, but I can't. In any case, it's a really good devil's food cake.
The best site i have found is www.preparedpanrty.com It's an American site which will give you thousands of free recipes, from all over the world.
